PtF ~ Path to Fitness
It's been a good week! I've done two out of my three required treadmill sessions and I actually feel pretty good! It's crazy to think that the Trainer may actually know what she's talking about! I'll complete session three this evening and then it'll be back to the gym Monday night. Could I actually do it this time? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Now that's just crazy talk!

SiN ~ Slim in NEVER!!!!
Oh yeah... and I SiN A LOT!
So my trainer wants me to either back off of SiS or incorporate it with at least 20 minutes of level 7 treadmill 3 times per week! Apparently I need more cardio than what the SiS program is delivering. We’ll see how this goes… But I’m pretty sure after 20 at 7 effort SiS can kiss it!

SiS ~ Day blah, blah, blah
And another, and another...
Tuesday night was spent with the eye doctor and 3/5 of The Fab Wed Five have new prescriptions. As for Wednesday night... Yeah, I got nothin'. So here we are, Day 17, and I've officially Ramped it UP! That's Ramp people! It was a pretty good workout and true to form the sweat rolled. Debbie, the main babe in the workout DVD, very enthusiastically told me that if I did this workout EVERY DAY I'd have great abs in no time! Ya' Think!?! And all I have to do is complete this workout every single day!?! Well Hell!!!! Why didn't you say so in the Start it Up workout! I'm sure I could have prevented the domino's!!! Sheesh!

SiS ~ Day 11, 12, 13 & 14
Dominos. It just goes down like dominos. You pass on your Thursday workout because you’ve spent the evening doing homework and going to the market and suddenly its Friday night… And let’s be completely honest people… Margaritas trump workout every single time! So then it’s Saturday… and you’ve got alllllll day to get this workout done, but then there’s T-Ball and errands and Batman Arkham Asylum and cat naps and shows to catch up on and book addictions to facilitate… And then it’s Sunday. Sunday was, of course, Mother’s Day and no self-respecting mother would dare to workout on her one day of pure leisure! Especially when there’s Iron Man 2 to go and see on a BIG ASS movie screen! So then it’s Monday… today. Worked all day, went to the gym, homework with the 6 year old, put away the laundry, couple of simple house chores. Did I mention it’s my Anniversary? Lucky 13! I saw my loving hubbie (my BFF) for all of 10 minutes this morning and will probably see him for all of 10 minutes this evening because I’m not much of a night person and he’s not here now. Yeah… I’m thinking good ‘ol SiS will just have to wait another night. Dominos.

Sweat is gross. Little beads of moisture oozing up through your pours, slithering down your spine and running into places…. Well, places it just does NOT belong! But this is all supposed to be good right? It sure does make me feel better being all oozy and sticky and ACK! (cabo, cabo, cabo) Day 8… Done.

SiS ~ Day 6 & 7
Getting back on track. I wish I could say the sun beckoned me away yet again, but that’s just not the case. It was all a matter of bad timing and I just didn’t make the time for my SiS workout on Sunday. So, today… I more than made up for it! Not only did I workout with my trainer, but I completed the day 7 Slim in Six. My daughter has decided to join me on this SiS Adventure, and there was no way she was going to let me out of it! (Held accountable by the 12 year old… great). And, to our great enjoyment, Michael decided to jump in on the workout as well! Cabo simply won’t know what hit it! We will truly be The Fabulous Weden Five! Well… at least three! ;)

SiS ~ Day 4
I cannot be held responsible for an inability to post within a timely fashion when the goddamn piece of shit modem continuously goes out every five minutes! As I’m typing this I can’t get the friggin’ thing to work! So now I’ll have to wait and if I’m lucky might be able to post in the morning. (Won’t hold my breath). My SiS status for this evening is: I’ve decided NOT to push this head cold and I’m thinking one more night of really great rest should set me right. Well… I’m hoping anyway. So it’s blanket, book, tea, & a NyQuil Nightcap! I’m truly a Wild Woman.

SiS ~ Day 3
FAIL! Didn’t workout yesterday & didn’t post… Double Fail. How pathetic when you can’t even make it through day three. Why is it whenever you make a firm and conscience effort to stick to a workout, influenza decides to knock you on your ass!!??!! “Sit down you fat bitch! Get your buddies Ben & Jerry, put in a movie you’ve seen a bazillion times, and plop that dimpled butt on the couch!” People say you get sick when you start working out because your body is releasing toxins. Whatev. I think it’s a sign… an omen… I’ll have to consult my spiritual advisor & tarot card reader, but I’m pretty sure they’ll both come to the same conclusion… The all powerful Chunky Monkey is calling and you must follow. Alright… well that’s about enough. I’m going to go and invest in a fairly sizable bottle of Day Quil and push through this day.

SiS ~ Day 1
1 day down… 41 to go! The Start it Up workout was just about 25minutes long and I’m quite literally dripping with sweat! Of course, it’s a least a million degrees in the house… and the six year old was passing gas which didn’t make breathing optimal… but at least I can say I did it! Now it’s off to the shower and then over to the local medical supply for an oxygen tank!

Slim in Six
Well that’s what the program is called anyway. (Though the title doesn’t clearly define “six”). Six hours? So if I do this workout for six hours X times per week I should be fairly slim in a decent amount of time, right? I could certainly maintain six minutes per day. Or if I do this workout six times per week I’ll be slim in (blank)… Again, no clear definition happening there. I’ve been told the “six” represents weeks. Slim in Six weeks… but I don’t know how many times per week or the duration of each exercise. Guess I’ll just have to suck it up and pop in the DVD to find out.
It was my intention to start the Slim in Six program yesterday… Best Intensions, right? But the beauty of the day and the warmth of the sun beckoned me and I opted to bask in all its majesty with a shiny layer of dark tanning oil. Oh yes, it was that good. So the Slim in Six will just have to wait until Tuesday. Why not today? Because my ass was just handed to me by my 5’ nothing trainer! Just lifting my arms to type is a massive chore at present.

Of course it also reads: 2. poor or inferior: As in ~ There is a slim chance she’ll actually stick with and finish this program.
Objective: Execute Slim in Six program; Successfully complete six full weeks; Blog daily.
